  7. The Back-UPS Uninterruptible Power Supply is designed to protect LANs,
  8. telecommunications, and other sensitive electronic equipment from power
  9. problems, including blackouts, brownouts, spikes, and line noise.  All models
  10. (except 80250) include a communications interface port that allows the
  11. Back-UPS to initiate an unattended shutdown of all popular operating systems,
  12. including SCO UNIX, Novell, LAN Manager, and others.  The Back-UPS includes a
  13. site wiring fault indicator that alerts the user to faulty wiring conditions
  14. such as missing ground and reversed polarity.  User-adjustable option switches
  15. allow the user to customize many UPS parameters including transfer voltage and
  16. alarm settings.  All Back-UPS are UL approved and CSA listed, and come with a
  17. two year warranty and 5,000 Guaranteed ABSOLUTE Protection (see warranty for
  18. details).
